Photo Contest
Do you love showing off your FarmTek products? Think you're using them in a unique and interesting way? We'd love to see! Submit your photos to our 2013 Photo Contest. The best submission will receive a $500 gift certificate and five runners-up will each receive a $200 gift certificate. To participate, submit at least three high-quality photos of your FarmTek products in use and tell us what is going on in the picture. We are looking for striking images of products purchased from FarmTek. We ask that you send the highest resolution images possible (4" x 6" prints or 300 dpi digital images). Pictures taken with a digital camera will often meet these requirements. Submit your files in your digital camera's original file format (i.e., .jpeg, .tiff, .png).
We aren't just interested in great photos & we'd also love to hear how our products are working for you. Let us know how you benefit from using the products, how they impact your business or home, your experience with ordering from us or any modifications you have done. You may find your testimonial and photos featured in our catalog!

What could I win?
At the conclusion of the Contest, the best submission will receive a $500 gift certificate, and five runners-up will each receive a $200 gift certificate!
Who is eligible for this contest?
This Contest is open to FarmTek customers 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of FarmTek, or its affiliated or subsidiary companies, and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of such persons, are not eligible to enter contest. Contest is governed by the laws of the U.S.A. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited.
How can I enter this contest?
Contest begins on June 18, 2013 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET, August 16, 2013. To enter, please forward your submission to contest@farmtek.com or post your photos to our Facebook fan page.
Entrants will be required to read the full rules and provide an entry, which will include: entrant's name, mailing address, daytime telephone number, email address and digital images/color prints. The submission must not infringe the copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other intellectual property rights of any person or entity. All entries become the property of FarmTek. We reserve the right to use your entry in all print and electronic media.
What are you looking for in winning photos?
Each participant must submit at least three high-quality photos (up to eight photographs total). We are looking for striking images of products purchased from FarmTek. These images should show the product in use. We ask that you send the highest resolution images possible (4" x 6" prints or 300 dpi digital images). Our judges are interested in seeing photos taken from different angles, as well as close-up and wide angle shots. For inspiration, please see our previous years' winning photos. Submit your files in your digital camera's original file format (i.e., .jpeg, .tiff, .png). Photographs should not contain distinguishing marks (i.e. time-day stamp, name, copyright).
How will FarmTek use the photos I submit?
If your photo(s) is selected, FarmTek will post your photograph(s) to our websites. In addition, FarmTek may feature your photograph(s) in our print catalog and other marketing communications such as, but not limited to, magazine advertisements. Accordingly, by submitting a photograph(s) in the Contest, you acknowledge and agree that FarmTek shall have the right (without limitation or further compensation to you) to edit, adapt, modify, reproduce, publish, promote, display and otherwise use your entry in any way it sees fit, including the right to publish your entry online and in print, as described herein.
How will the contest be judged?
A panel of judges, selected at the sole discretion of FarmTek, will select winners based on the following criteria: photo uniqueness, product usage and photo quality. Judges' decisions are final.
When will winners be notified?
Each Winner will be notified by email (at the email address from which his or her entry was submitted) within seventy-two (72) hours after he or she is selected as a Winner. Winners will be required to complete a publicity release (except where prohibited by law) which must be returned within ten (10) days of date of personal delivery or date of sender's postmark. Winning entries will be announced on www.FarmTek.com no later than September 30, 2013.
What are the conditions?
Entries are eligible for judging only once—prior year entries may not be re-submitted. By participating in the Contest, winners agree to have their name, voice or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize. By participating, the entrant agrees to abide by and be bound by these rules. FarmTek is not responsible for lost, late, or unintelligible entries, lost connections, miscommunications, failed transmissions, other technical difficulties or failures. FarmTek reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the Contest including the substitution of a prize or prizes of equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement. Failure to comply with the Contest rules may result in a contestant's disqualification solely at the discretion of FarmTek.
